More people than ever are playing video games and from such a diverse cross section of the community - from toddlers to pensioners, video games appeal to people regardless of age and gender. Today's video games are more about healthy entertainment and broad experiences than simply playing a game.

The 'Xbox Responsible Gaming Initiative' is aimed at helping people understand video games in order for them to find the best way to integrate the experience into their lives in an easy, safe and practical way.

As part of the initiative, and to help promote the facts about video gaming, Xbox has created a new consumer friendly website (www.videogamefacts.com.au) to help assist people find out some of the facts and information about video games that are not readily accessible to people not familiar with video games.
